2024 APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATIONS

ONLY 200 APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE

 


Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 322 will have available 200 applications for apprenticeship online on select dates.  Applications for a 5-year program will be open on the following dates:

Applications will open on our website starting at midnight and stay open for 24 hours or until we reach the allotted number of applications given out. www.ua322.org

  • Friday December 1, 2023 (50 applications 24 hours)
  • Monday January 1, 2024 (50 applications 24 hours)
  • Thursday February 1, 2024 – February 9, 2023 (100 applications)
    • UA Local 322 reserves the right to increase the number of applications in February if 100 applications are not collected between December and January to reach our max of 200 applications.

Applications are on a first come first serve basis.

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application and hold a valid NJ driver’s license and will be 18 years of age prior to being indentured by the JATC.

After successfully submitting your application you will be emailed a link to upload the required documents needed to complete your application, however the Driver's License must be submitted with the application.  Failure to submit all documents will void your application.

  1. Valid New Jersey Driver’s License (MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE INITIAL APPLICATION)
  2. Valid proof of birth date; examples – valid driver’s license, birth certificate, or other State ID
  3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (GED) Certificate and official report of test results. (High School Seniors can upload a letter from their school detailing their enrollment and expected graduation date) 
  4. Unofficial High School and Post High School Education and Training Transcript. 
  5. Military Transfer or Discharge Form DD-214, if applicable.

Prior applicants must resubmit the above documents.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants must reside in and have been bona fide resident of the geographical jurisdiction of Local Union 322 for one year prior to making application.  This includes all of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem Counties.

Applicants will be required to complete an online assessment as well as an in-person proctored math exam.  This information will be emailed to the email you provided on your application after our application process closes on February 9, 2024.

If you are accepted into UA Local 322 Apprenticeship Program you must then apply for and receive a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) prior to beginning work.  You can apply at http://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic.  You will be reimbursed for the cost of the card when received.  We will need a receipt and copy of your card for reimbursement.
