2025 HVAC Apprenticeship Recruitment

For five-year apprenticeship program in the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration field, applications will be available September 9th, 2024 through September 20th, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Applications must be filled out, IN PERSON, at the following location:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: **Applicants must supply COPIES of these documents**

  • COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE (must be 18 years of age)
  • COPY OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA ALONG WITH TRANSCRIPT -OR- EQUIVALENCY (GED) CERTIFICATE WITH OFFICIAL TEST RESULTS REPORT
  • THREE LETTERS OF PERSONAL REFERENCE
  • COPY OF VALID PHOTO DRIVER'S LICENSE WITHOUT MAJOR INFRACTIONS: NO DUI WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS
  • VETERANS, PLEASE INCLUDE COPY OF YOUR DD-214

NOTES:

  • There will be 75 applications available.
  • Applications are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Applications will be filled out by the applicant at the Local.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Prior applicants must resubmit the above documents.
  • Required documents must be presented in order to receive application.
  • No applications will be mailed and only ONE available per applicant.
  • Successful applicants will be required to pass a drug screening.
  • The five years of apprenticeship training will be held at the Edward R. Gehm Training Center at 7 Crown Plaza Hazlet, NJ 07730.

WORKKEYS TESTS:

  • Applicants will be required to complete the Workkeys Test which examines the skill level for Applied Mathematics and Reading for Information.
